In the research section the study describes, evaluates and compares the data obtained from the physical ability testing of 494 pupils from 10 elementary schools, using the Unifittest point norms 6-60 for the age category of 12 years. The results of investigation showed that the physical ability level of the studied group is below average. However, pupils from urban schools achieved better average results in all four motor tests than pupils from rural schools. The average STB score of urban schools is 18,63 points, while the average STB of pupils in rural schools is 15,61 points. The testing also showed that pupil's endurance abilities were the weakest compared to the other tested disciplines.
